CONSOLES There are a variety of standard consoles available. The most popular is
the head console, which has a door in the front which leads down into the hull to an enclosed
head area . The helm is high enough to operate in a standing position to see over passangers.
A "C. G. approved" Marine Sanitation Device is available. There is also two widths of "stand
up" consoles available. These consoles are also 4' high which allows the captain to either
stand up or sit on a high pedestal seat and be able to see over the passangers. It is available
in two widths, 18" and 36" and comes width a locking door in the rear for storage and a seat
on the front. There are also more conventional consoles with and without seats on the front.
It is also possible to use a standard and a head console on the same boat, locating a standard
console towards the bow for visibility and locate a head console without a helm in another
location to use as a head only. The head console must be located over a hull, because of the
insert. When the head is on the starbord side, the helm is aft and the door is forward. If the
head is on the port side, the door is aft and it is not pratical to have the helm on that unit.
Pressure water is available in the head or at other locations.
Head console $1120 MSD $750
36" Stand up console $850 18" Stand up console $660
Tall Capt's Bench w/store $570 Tall pedestal seat $320

Seats All styles of seats come in three widths based on the C. G. standard 18" width per
passenger. The most popular seat is the standard seat, which has a back. This seat is
normally arranged around the outside of the deck, so that the seat backs form the wall of the
passenger area (refer to the typical "T boat" drawing). Seats can also be arranged buss style
or facing out around outside rail as on a fishing boat. There is also a bench seat (a seat
without a back) that can be used by itself or placed against the back of the standard seat to
form a back to back seat. You can have a row of these "back to back" seats along the
center of the deck for additional seating. There is also a corner seat available. These seats
are open underneath for storage. There is also a 36" (two passenger) dry storage seat
available with a lid over a enclosed storage area. Removable cushions are available either in
Sunbrella or vinyl with closed cell foam.

Fuel Storage Three fuel storage areas are available. Six gallon steel tanks may be stored
in most places on the deck. One or two 35 gallon aluminum tanks may be stored under
covers in the rear "splash well" if the weight of the motors is not excessive, or one or two 50
gallon aluminum tanks may be stored under covers on the foredeck.

Tops There are generally two types of tops that can be used on the boat. The least
expensive route is to use bimini tops on S. S. frames. The maximum size for a top is 10' X
12', so that a series of tops can be used to cover any of the boats. Side curtains can be
added to the tops. The second choice is a welded aluminum top with a soft or hard top. A
welded top can also incorporate the rails along the top of the seats to establish the 39.5" rail
height. Side curtains are also an option with a welded top. Beachcat Boats does not
manufacture welded tops, but works with shops in the area. You can also have the work
done at a local shop after delivery. There are many options available on welded tops such as
overhead PFD storage, electronics boxes and lights.
10' X 12' S. Steel bimini top $1600
Welded aluminum top (approx)
26' X 10' Boat $11,000 to $14,000
32' X 12' $13,000 to $15,000
38' X 12' $16,000 to $18,000
Now that you've done the preliminary design of your boat, you also have a rough estimate of it's cost. You can now fax,
e-mail or mail a copy of the layout to Beachcat and we will prepare a more accurate drawing and a quotation specifically for
you.
Side walls/rails The minimun rail height required on most "T boats" is 39.5" with a
minimun opening width of 6". This can be accomplished in several ways. The simplest is to
provide a solid wall of the required height. Beachcat offers foam cored fiberglass walls to
any size that are often used next to the helm and for gates. The disadvantage of this is that
they are higher than the head of a sitting passanger and obstruct the view on a tour boat. The
solid walls can have lower sections with 7/8" S S rails to establish the height and still allow a
good view. The most common way of designing a Beachcat is to use the seat-backs to form
the wall (see Typical "T boat configuration"). The height of the seat back is only 28" which
allows for good viewing and the remaining 11" in height can be made up with S. S. or
aluminum rails. When a side gate is required, a section of our solid wall 39.5" high is used.
Solid side walls $36/linear foot S.S. rails to get 39.5" height on seat backs
Gates (36" or $22/ linear foot
less) $200
